As we start to settle into 2018, having caught up with the emails and each other, it’s time to look ahead and make sure your diary is up to date with the best business and industry events in Dubai.

Whether your goal for 2018 is to grow your business, increase sales, expand your network and database, and/or develop brand awareness, these events can be a useful tool for networking, learning and marketing. There are a multitude of events happening though, so which ones should you attend?

  1. Arab Health (29th Jan – 5th Feb)

As suggested by the name, this event is one for those working with, or wanting to work with, the healthcare industry. Held at Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, this year’s exhibition is expecting more than 200 exhibiting companies and 103,000 attendees from over 150 countries. Entry to exhibition is free if you register in advance, and there are also a series of 19 conferences. The focus areas for this year will be around personal healthcare technology, hands-on training, dealers and distributors, medical laboratory and Arab Health Congress.

  1. Gulfood (18th – 22nd Feb)

Another well-named industry event, Gulfood is described as the world’s largest annual food event, with more than 5,000 exhibitors and 97K F&B Buyers from over 95% of the globe – it’s one not to miss for anyone interested in the F&B sector. The eight primary market sectors covered during the three days at Dubai World Trade Centre will include beverages, dairy, fats & oils, meat & poultry, health/wellness/free-from, world foods, pulses/grains/cereals, and power brands.

  1. INDEX (26th – 29th Mar)

Not such an obvious one, INDEX is the annual International Design Exhibition held at Dubai World Trade Centre, aimed at architecture, interior designers, design & fit out professionals, suppliers, developers and procurement professionals. The exhibition is comprised of six market leading sectors, including A&D City, accessories & homeware, cabinets/closets/storage, furniture & furnishings, lighting & technology, sleep & textiles. Last year, the show attracted 25,415 attendees from 108 visiting countries to see 846 exhibitors from 54 countries.

  1. Arabian Travel Market (ATM) (22-25 Apr)

This is the leading global B2B event for travel professionals working in both inbound and outbound Middle East travel. Over 28,000 buyers and travel trade visitors, as well as over 39,000 travel professionals, government ministers and international press, join the exhibition in Dubai World trade Centre over the four days. As a B2B exhibition, tourism destinations from around the world showcase a diverse range of accommodation options, breath taking tourism attractions, travel technology and key airline routes.

It’s well worth making sure you are aware of the industry events pertinent to you and your business goals, and at such a busy time of year, we can help to ensure you are registered for these events in advance to avoid paying attendance charges, we can enquire about speaking opportunities and exhibiting costs, and we can block your diaries to ensure you don’t miss such critical opportunities.
