The Best Hotels for Staycations in Dubai this Eid

We’re almost there! Only a few more days of work left before the Eid break, which also signals the end of a long summer in Dubai. If you’re planning to stay in Dubai for the upcoming Eid al- Adha holiday, or have visitors over, we’re sharing our thoughts on some of the best hotels that you should consider for your break:

  1. Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi

This gorgeous hotel is located on Al Maryah Island, and this location makes it one of the most preferred travel destinations for Dubai and Abu Dhabi residents. The luxury rooms have great views over the water. For dining and celebrating the holiday, there are six elegant restaurants and lounges, and two ballrooms. You can pamper yourself at the luxury full-service day spa, and there is a swimming
pool on the third floor to cool off out of the heat of the sun. The hotel also has separate fitness centres for men and women.

  1. Al Wadi Desert, Ras Al Khaimah

The hotel is located in a desert oasis only 45 minutes away from Dubai. This beautiful setting amongst the dunes will give you an opportunity to explore the nature and wildlife found in the desert. Great for a romantic retreat, or simply as a quiet escape from the city, it provides a range international cuisine. The hotel’s spa offers something completely unique with its rainforest experience and indoor pool, and horse-riding is also offered in addition to a range of other desert activities.

  1. Rove Downtown Dubai

A new addition to the scene in Dubai, Rove is a great option for those watching their dirhams after the summer’s travels. Don’t be put off by the three star label, this is Dubai, where we’ve extended the rating system to seven stars anyway – three stars here is not the same as anywhere else! The hotel has a perfect location in downtown, only a few metres and a 15-minute walk from Burj Khalifa, and has a lovely outdoor swimming pool.

  1. Al Maha Resort and Spa

If you want to head out to the desert without leaving the emirate, and are looking for more of an indulgent treat, look closer to home at Al Maha. The resort is located in an oasis that is in the middle of the vast Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve and so regularly plays host to local gazelles and oryx who graze peacefully arounf the hotel’s beautiful spa and a pool.

  1. Grosvenor House

Grosvenor House is a twin tower hotel, located in Dubai Marina. The hotel is easily accessible as it is only 30 minutes away from the airport, and within walking distance of the beach, metro station, malls and cinemas. If the wide range of restaurants and bars at the hotel is not enough, then there are plenty more in walking distance. There are two Asian spas, a gym, pool and tennis court. Only a short taxi ride away is the indoor ski slope, world class golf courses and malls.

Of course there are plenty more hotels, but as your unofficial Dubai concierge, we wanted to give a selection from the broad range of hotel and resort types that might be of interest this Eid. We wish you a fantastic break whatever you do, and quality time with friends and family. Eid Mubarak!
